Artists Ugnė Vitonytė and Eglė Vitonienė are a creative duo and family tandem, fully committed to the need of creation. Eglė graduated from Kaunas School of Applied Arts, Ugnė - Druskininkai V. K. Jonynas Art School and Vilnius Academy of Arts. Since 2012, they have been organizing personal exhibitions in Druskininkai, and from 2018, participating in joint exhibitions throughout Lithuania. In the course of creation, a joint work comes to life by choosing different processes: sometimes one pours watercolor, the other complements it with graphics. Sometimes they do water coloring together, or they swap places and complete the started graphic fragments in their own way. When creating, they use unique technique, in which the transparency of watercolor, unlimited textural possibilities, a sense of graphic rhythm, meticulousness, and thoughtful arrangement of details are intertwined. The artists organize creative watercolor and graphic educational activities, during which they share their knowledge and help to understand these techniques.
